Pastor and Elder Regina Underdown is the founder of the New Horizon Virtual Church. New
Horizon Church was founded during the pandemic and is growing daily. In Elder Underdown’s
capacity as an Elder, she serves as one of the Associate Pastors of the Oakley Full Gospel
Baptist Church where the esteemed Bishop Herman Ware Jr. is the senior Pastor.
Pastor Underdown has an Associate degree in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor of Science
degree in Social Work. Ordained in 1996 and currently serving as State Director of Intercessory
Prayer, Intercessory Prayer Ministry Head, Pastoral Care Elder to the Philippians Church
Group, Missionary Ministry, and Women Harvesting Women-which is a women’s support group.
Pastor Underdown is part of several evangelistic teams, “Taking It To the Streets and One
Divine Love.”  The Lord God Almighty has blessed Pastor Underdown with a heart of
compassion for the loss, downtrodden, the homeless-hopeless and helpless.
Pastor Underdown is the mother of four sons and a sibling of six. She not only has a love for her
biological family but a deep love for God’s people, especially, young people. Her loved grew
immensely while ministering in the Oakley youth department for over 20 years, ten of those
years serving in the capacity as Director of the Children’s Church.
Pastor Underdown’s prayer is “Teach me the way  ‘OH Lord, and I will serve Thee until the end.
Give me understanding and I will obey Your word. Yes, I will serve Thee with my whole heart”.

Pastor Underdown’s mission in life is:

•  To accomplish all that God has for her to do, preaching and teaching God’s Word.

• To fulfill HIS purpose for my life,

• To love my neighbor as myself by sharing Jesus with all that I mee

• And to love my family and encourage them to live the life God has called them into.
